Epics

Large initiatives spanning multiple cycles.

Epics group related tasks under a larger initiative. They span multiple cycles and provide a high-level view of progress on major features or projects.

Creating Epics

  1. Navigate to Projects → Epics
  2. Click New Epic
  3. Set: title, description, color, target date
  4. Link tasks by setting their epic field

Epic Progress

Each epic shows:

  • Task count — Total tasks linked to this epic
  • Completion percentage — Based on task statuses
  • Timeline — Start and target dates
  • Status — Not Started, In Progress, Completed

Roadmap Integration

Epics are the primary building block of the Roadmap view. Each epic appears as a bar on the timeline, showing its duration and progress.
