Goals Module
OKRs and goal tracking with AI progress synthesis from your tasks, deals, and tickets.
The Goals module brings OKR-style goal management to Workestra. What makes it different: key results can link directly to live data — a CRM deal filter, a Projects completion percentage, or a Support CSAT score — so progress updates automatically without manual status reports.
What the Goals Module Does
Workestra's Goals module helps you:
- Define objectives at every level — Company, team, and individual, with a contribution hierarchy connecting them all
- Track with live KR links — Key results pull current values from CRM deals, Projects tasks, Support CSAT, and Time entries automatically
- Synthesize progress with AI — Copilot reads tasks, deals, and tickets and writes a weekly narrative — no manual update needed
- Run quarterly or custom cycles — Structured periods with Planning, Active, and Closed states and carry-forward support
- Prompt regular check-ins — Weekly or bi-weekly cadence with confidence scores and blocker notes
- Surface at-risk goals early — Automatic At Risk classification based on progress vs. time elapsed
- Share company OKRs publicly — A read-only company board visible to all workspace members
- Generate AI cycle summaries — Cycle-end narrative suitable for all-hands or board review
How to Enable Goals
- Navigate to Settings > Modules
- Find the Goals card
- Toggle it On
- Goals appears in your sidebar
Goals is available as an add-on on all plans. Live KR links require the respective module to be enabled — CRM for revenue KRs, Projects for task and milestone KRs, Surveys for CSAT KRs, and so on.

OKR Structure
Objectives are qualitative goals that describe what you want to achieve. They set direction without specifying a number.
Key Results are measurable outcomes that tell you whether you achieved the objective. Each KR has a start value, a target value, and a current value that updates manually (via check-in) or automatically (via a live module link).
Initiatives are optional Projects tasks or projects you link to a KR to drive it forward. They don't affect the KR's numeric progress directly but give team members visibility into the work behind a goal.
OKR Levels
| Level | Set By | Visible To |
|---|---|---|
| Company | Leadership | All workspace members (default) |
| Team | Team lead | Team members |
| Individual | Employee | Owner and their manager |
Individual KRs contribute to Team objectives. Team objectives contribute to Company objectives. The contribution links are visible in the hierarchy view.
AI Features
Weekly progress synthesis — Copilot generates a weekly narrative per objective by reading:
- Completed tasks from Projects
- Closed deals from CRM
- Resolved tickets from Support
- Time logged from Time
The narrative is plain language: "This week: 3 deals closed (+€45 k toward the Q2 revenue KR, now at 67%). 12 tasks completed in the onboarding epic." It appears in the Goals Overview dashboard and in the weekly digest email. No manual update required.
Cycle-end summary — When closing a cycle, AI generates a retrospective narrative per objective summarizing achievements, misses, and key events during the period.
