Marketing Settings

Configure your ESP, sending domain, unsubscribe behavior, and attribution window.

Marketing Settings control how campaigns are delivered, how unsubscribes are handled, and how revenue is attributed back to campaigns. Settings are accessible to workspace admins and users with the Marketing Admin role.

Navigate to Marketing > Settings.

You must verify your sending domain before any campaign can be sent. Campaigns queued before verification will send automatically once verification is complete.

Email Sending Provider

Choose and connect the ESP that delivers your campaigns:

ProviderConfiguration
ResendPaste your Resend API key
SendGridPaste your SendGrid API key
Custom SMTPEnter host, port, username, and password

Click Test Connection after entering credentials to verify the integration before your first send.

Sending Domain

Your from-address domain must be verified so email clients accept your messages and your deliverability is protected.

  1. Enter your sending domain (e.g., yourdomain.com)
  2. Workestra displays the required DNS records — SPF and DKIM
  3. Add those records in your DNS provider
  4. Return to this page — status updates automatically after DNS propagates (typically within minutes, up to 48 hours)

Once verified, the domain shows a green Verified badge. You can add multiple verified domains.

Default From Name and Address

Set the workspace-wide default sender identity:

  • From Name — the display name recipients see (e.g., Workestra Team)
  • From Address — the sending email address (must be on a verified domain)

Both can be overridden per campaign at creation time.

Unsubscribe Page

Configure what recipients see after clicking the unsubscribe link:

  • Default page — Workestra shows a standard confirmation page with your workspace name and logo
  • Custom redirect URL — redirect to your own unsubscribe confirmation page after the opt-out is recorded

One-click unsubscribe — the List-Unsubscribe and List-Unsubscribe-Post headers are automatically added to all sends, satisfying Gmail and Yahoo's requirements for bulk senders.

Suppression List

Contacts are added to the suppression list automatically when they:

  • Unsubscribe via a campaign link
  • Produce a hard bounce
  • Mark a campaign as spam

Suppressed contacts are blocked from all future campaign sends, regardless of which segment or list they appear in.

Manual suppression — add individual email addresses to the suppression list directly (for contacts who unsubscribed via another channel or who you need to exclude proactively). Click Add to Suppression List and enter the email address.

Remove from suppression — suppressed contacts can be removed manually by a Marketing Admin if the contact explicitly requests to re-subscribe. This action is logged in the audit trail.

Revenue Attribution Window

SettingDescription
Attribution Window (days)Number of days after a campaign send during which a closed-won deal is attributed to the campaign as last-touch. Default: 30 days.

When a contact who received a campaign closes a deal within the window, the campaign is tagged as the last-touch source and the deal value appears in campaign analytics.

  • Campaigns — Campaigns delivered through the ESP configured here
  • Segments — Audience queries that power campaign targeting
