Banking Integration

Connect bank accounts for automatic transaction sync.

Workestra integrates with multiple banking providers to sync your bank accounts and transactions into the Finance module.

Connecting a Bank Account

  1. Go to Finance → Settings → Banking
  2. Select your banking provider
  3. Click Connect Account
  4. Follow the provider's authentication flow (OAuth)
  5. Select the accounts to sync

Transaction Sync

Once connected:

  • Transactions sync automatically
  • New transactions appear in real-time via live subscriptions
  • Transactions can be categorized and matched to invoices/expenses
  • Historical data is imported on first connection

Account Information

For each connected account, you can view:

  • Balance — Current and available balance
  • Transactions — Full transaction history with search and filters
  • Categories — Auto-categorized transactions

Security

  • Bank credentials are never stored by Workestra
  • All connections use OAuth — you authenticate directly with your bank
  • Provider tokens are encrypted at rest
  • You can disconnect at any time from Finance → Settings
